What is Purity?
Purity is truth. When something is pure it is real, authentic, genuine, unadulterated. Compare physical matter with virtues. When I buy pigment for painting, pure pigment is best because it doesn’t have any fillers in it. It’s also the most expensive because it is the best. Pure water is clean. It is completely transparent. Something that has been purified has been taken back to its original state. All the things that had been mixed with it have been removed.
A child is like a pure human being. So innocent, so free, no hidden agendas, what you see is what you get. When you look in the eyes of a child you see purity.
Is it possible for an adult to first experience, and then become pure and clean in thoughts and feelings like a child?
Thoughts always come first and then feelings grow from the thoughts. A pure thought doesn’t ask a lot of questions. A pure thought isn’t a lot of thoughts or repeating thoughts. A pure thought doesn’t have mistrust or fear or worry mixed into it. Pure thoughts are very simple thoughts. These are some pure thoughts.
